Eligibility Criteria
- 1. MBBS with PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in concerned specialty from Government recognized universities/colleges.
- 2. Registered with Gujarat Medical Council or National Medical Council. In case, the candidate is registered in other state, he/she must register himself/herself in Gujarat Medical Council at the time of joining.
- 1 ) For Endocrinology, Medical Oncology and Neurophysician - (i) MD/DNB in the concerned broad specialty with DM/DrNB in the concerned super specialty from MCI recognized Medical College/Institution (ii) Five years' experience in concerned Super Speciality after obtaining first PG degree.
- 2 ) For Urology - (i) MS/DNB in General Surgery with MCH/DrNB in Urology with MCI recognized Medical College/Institution (ii) Five years' experience in concerned Super Speciality after obtaining first PG degree.
Salary/ Stipend
- Basic Pay Rs. 67,700/- in the Level-11 & Index-1 of Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Basic pay Rs. 18,750/- (PB-3) with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-) and allowances applicable under ESIC rules and Scheme of Senior Residency.
- a) Full Time - Consolidated amount of Rs 2,00,000/- per month b) Part Time - Consolidated amount of Rs 1,00,000/- per month
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 45 years as on interview date. Age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC & 05 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Age not exceeding 69 years as on interview date.
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to the UR/OBC category have to deposit a Demand Draft (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 300/- in the favour of "ESI Fund Account No. -1" payable to Ahmedabad at the time of interview. Note: - SC/ST/ PWD/Female candidates have been exempted for payment of fee.

General Information / Instructions
1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH is as per Central Government rules. The candidate appointed under PWD quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/General.
2. Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS category must produce original certificate in prescribed format of Govt. of India in support of their claim.

This is a rolling advertisement, applicable for filling the vacancies declared above as well as any unfilled and/or newly created posts through subsequent amendment notifications (issued as short notices) to be published only on the official websites, i.e., www.esic.gov.in/recruitments and www.bapunagarhospital.esic.gov.in/recruitments.
2. Walk-in interviews shall be conducted for vacancies that remain unfilled and/or as per the operational requirements of the Hospital as on the date of interview. The number of vacancies available shall be published on the ESIC website (www.esic.gov.in/recruitments and www.bapunagarhospital.esic.gov.in/recruitments) at least 5-7 days prior to the scheduled Walk-in Interview, proposed to be held on the 1st of every month, or on the next working day in case of a holiday, subject to change due to administrative exigencies.
3. Eligible and interested candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria in all respects may appear for the Walk-in Interview on the notified date.
4. Applicants applying in response to this advertisement are advised to satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must fulfill the eligibility criteria in all respects as on the date of the Walk-in Interview.
1. The candidate should report at 09:30 AM for verification of documents at Conference hall (2nd Floor) of ESIC Model Hospital, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad. Only candidates clear the document verification will be allowed to appear before the interview panel.
3. The tenure of Senior Residency is for a period of total 03 years (including any service rendered as SR earlier on ad-hoc/ regular basis in government institution). The appointment will be initially for a period of one year, which is extendable for a period of 03 years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance to be reviewed every year.
4. Tenure of Contractual Part/Full time Super Specialist will be for one year (which is extendable only for full time super specialist for a period of 03 years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance to be reviewed every year and requirement), or till faculty is posted in the concerned Super Specialty, whichever is earlier.
5. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on ground of belonging to the OBC should submit the community certificate as prescribed by GOI, DOPT OM No. 36012/12/22/93-ESTT. (SCT) dated 08/09/93 which is modified by GOI DOPT OM No. 36033/3/2004(Res.) dated 09/03/2004 and time to time failing which the benefit of reservation/relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected. The OBC-NCL Certificate should be valid.
6. Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS category must produce original certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India.
7. The selected candidates shall have to pay Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty thousand rupees only) as Security Deposit (Senior Resident/ Super Specialist) and make an agreement on a Rs. 300/- Non-Judicial Stamp paper to be purchased by the candidate at the time of joining.
8. No claim of any service benefit like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical allowance, Seniority, Promotion and leave etc., will be admissible.
9. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview and joining purpose.
10. Private Practice of any kind will not be allowed.
11. Candidates working in Govt./ Private Hospital / Institute should produce NOC from their department at the time of Interview.
12. Applicants having completed 3 years of Senior Residency period in any government hospital, are not eligible for applying under residency scheme.
13. The service of SR will be governed by Residency Scheme and terms & conditions of the agreement.
14. Resignation from service will require 01 month of notice period or pay in lieu thereof in case of SR Scheme (03 Year), Specialist and Super Specialist.
15. Vacancies can change depending upon actual requirement at the time of interview.
16. Hostel accommodation / quarters will not be provided.
17. The Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital Bapunagar Ahmedabad reserves the right to fill up all post / partial post / not to fill up any post without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

- The eligible and desirous candidates with duly filled in application form (Annexure-A) should appear for walk-in-interview with their application along with original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopy of the relevant documents in support of age, qualifications, attempt, Mark Sheet, Degree, MCI/State Registration, Category & Experience certificate etc. and two recent passport size photographs.
- Applicants are advised to report to the office of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on the dates of interview up to 11:00 AM, any application received thereafter will not be entertained.
