Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Minimum two years Certificate in civil Draftsman obtained from any Industrial Training Institute established by the Government.
- Essential Qualification: Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- Essential Qualification: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Salary/ Stipend
- Fixed pay of Rs. 26,000 per month for the first five years.
- After five years, regular pay scale of Level-2 Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200.
Age Limit (as on 13-02-2026)
- Minimum 18 years, maximum 33 years.
- Relaxation for disabled candidates: 10 years for general disabled males (up to 43), 15 years for general disabled females (up to 45), 15 years for reserved disabled males (up to 45), 20 years for reserved disabled females (up to 45).
Application Fee
- Rs. 400 for the preliminary exam.
- The fees paid shall be refunded to those candidates who appear for the examination.

- Competitive written exam in MCQ format (CBRT/OMR).
- Part A: 90 marks (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension).
- Part B: 120 marks (Technical subjects).
- Total 210 questions, 3 hours, negative marking 1/4.
- Minimum qualifying marks 40% in each part.
- Document verification for shortlisted candidates.
