Eligibility Criteria
- Only Ex-Servicemen (from Army/Navy/Air Force)
- Diploma in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering/Technology (Full time regular) from recognized institute OR Diploma awarded by Indian Armed Forces after prescribed training
- Minimum 05 years post-qualification experience in relevant trades/engines (Aero-engine maintenance preferred)
- Higher qualification than required will lead to rejection
- Candidates with part-time/correspondence/distance education not eligible
Salary/Stipend
- Scale-6 (D6): Basic Pay ₹23,000/- + DA (quarterly revised) + HRA (city-wise) + Perks & Allowances @25% of Basic + ₹1,500/- pm Medical lump sum + Other benefits (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Incentive, Night Shift Allowance, etc.)
- Approximate Emoluments: ₹47,564/- per month at minimum induction (higher with armed forces experience as per rules)
- 3% annual increase on Basic Pay subject to satisfactory performance
- PF contribution, TA/DA for duty, Group Insurance etc. as per rules

- Basic Upper Age: 28 Years
- Ex-Servicemen Relaxation: Deduct total armed forces service period from actual age (resultant age should not exceed prescribed limit by >3 years)
- Additional Relaxation: SC/ST +5 yrs | OBC-NCL +3 yrs | PwBD +10 yrs | J&K domicile (1980-89) +5 yrs
- Maximum age with all relaxations: 55 Years
