Important Dates

Application Fee

The fee can only be paid online, through the payment gateway on the University's ERP Portal. The University accepts no other mode of payment. The fee is non-refundable, and applications without the required fee will be rejected.

Shortlisting and Test/Interview

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the test/interview. If the University receives a large number of applications, it may, at its discretion, limit the number of candidates to a reasonable figure. It may do this on the basis of qualifications or experience higher than the minimum prescribed for the post, or by any other criteria it decides. Interview dates will be notified on the University website and emailed to shortlisted applicants at the email ID given in the application form. No TA/DA will be paid.

Applicants Under the Earlier Advertisement

Applicants who already applied for the post of Professor (Regular Basis) under Advertisement No. HPNLU-A(7)-11(Advt.)/2022-40 dated 30 January 2026 do not need to apply again. They may update their application on the ERP Portal using their User ID and Password.

• A No Objection Certificate from the employer, for applicants serving in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, Boards or Autonomous Bodies. Submit it at the test/interview if you did not upload it with the online application.

Important Instructions

• Applications are processed only on the information and documents applicants submit. If anything is found false or incorrect, by omission or commission, the applicant alone is responsible and liable.
