Eligibility Criteria

  • M.Sc. (1st Division) in Zoology/ Physical Anthropology/ Genetics/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Micro-Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Forensic Science or its equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects with Zoology/Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level.
  • Three years research and analytical experience in DNA Finger Printing.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.
  • Desirable: Experience of working in Forensic Science Laboratory.

Salary/Stipend

  • Pay Scale: FPL-9, Cell-1, Rs. 53100-167800/-.

Age Limit (as on 01-02-2025)

  • The candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 45 years, on or before 01.02.2025 and as per the service.
  • Relaxation in maximum age as per Government instructions dated 25.03.2022 is available for various categories as specified in the notification.

Application Fee

  • For all Persons of Haryana with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (with at least 40% disability): NIL.
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC-A (Non Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS and women candidates of Haryana: Rs. 250/-.
  • DESM candidates of Haryana belonging to their vertical category i.e. SC, ST, BC-A (Non Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS of Haryana: Rs. 250/-.
  • All remaining candidates: Rs. 1000/-.
  • The category wise application fee is payable through online mode i.e. Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card up to 05:00 PM of the closing date.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded. Applications without the prescribed fee (unless remission of fee is claimed) shall be summarily rejected. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Selection Process

  • Generally, the Commission has a three stage recruitment process i.e. Screening Test followed by Subject Knowledge Test and interview.
  • In the event of number of applications being large, the Commission may adopt modes for shortlisting such as percentage of marks in minimum educational qualification, higher qualifications, desirable qualifications, higher experience, or holding a Screening Test and/or Subject Knowledge Test.
  • The Commission can decide to hold a Screening Test and then a Subject Knowledge Test & Interview or may directly hold a Subject Knowledge Test & Interview without holding a Screening Test. Decision of the Commission regarding pattern of exam would be final and binding upon the candidates.
  • In cases where Screening Test using OMR Sheets is held, candidates must fill details correctly as there is no provision for manual checking of OMR Sheets, and no request for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets would be considered.

General Information/Instructions

  • Before applying, the candidate should read carefully all the terms and conditions of the advertisement including essential qualifications, age limit, nature of experience required and other conditions.
  • Application forms of candidates who do not fulfill the essential qualifications, age and experience requirements will not be accepted by the portal, and admission to the recruitment process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
  • The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview/viva-voce, and candidates are advised to mention all their qualifications in the application form over and above the basic qualifications required.
  • Only documents/certificates submitted/uploaded along with the application form will be taken into consideration; any document issued or submitted after the closing date will not be considered at any stage of the selection process.
  • The candidate should read all instructions before filling in the online application form, check all particulars carefully, sign and upload the application form along with all relevant documents; incomplete or defective applications will be summarily rejected.
  • The use of mobile phones, pagers, electronic equipment, programmable devices, storage media like pen drive, smart watches, camera, Bluetooth devices or any such equipment capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited and may entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
  • Candidates must ensure that information provided by them is true; if at any stage any information or claim is found false, their candidature will be liable to be rejected and they may be debarred by the Commission.
  • The decision of the Commission in all matters relating to acceptance or rejection of an application, eligibility/suitability of the candidates, mode and criteria for selection etc. will be final and binding on the candidates, and no inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  • No request for withdrawal of candidature received from a candidate after submission of application will be entertained under any circumstances.

How to Apply

  • Candidates will have to compulsorily register online by visiting http://hpsc.gov.in for submitting their online application form. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the website, and no other means/mode of submission of application will be accepted.
  • Candidates can register online by using their Mobile Number and Aadhar Number; in case the data in Aadhar card is not updated, the candidate should apply through Mobile Number.
  • After registration, a login ID will be created, and candidates can apply against the advertisement as per their qualifications by using their login ID.
  • After filling up the application form, candidates must submit the same by making payment of the requisite fee and then take a printout of the application form and upload the same after duly checking and signing it.
  • If a candidate does not upload a signed copy of the downloaded application form, his/her application will be considered incomplete and candidature will be automatically rejected.
  • The candidate should carefully enter all particulars and details in the online application form, as after submission no change in any particular/detail will be allowed.
  • After successful submission of application, candidates should again take print out of the signed application form which has been uploaded and bring the hard copy along with all uploaded documents when called upon by the Commission.
  • Candidates are advised to submit only a single application; if multiple applications are submitted, only the application with highest/latest application number complete in all respects will be entertained, and fee paid against one application number will not be adjusted against any other application number.
