Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: B.Tech./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry/Botany/Life Sciences with valid GATE/NET score.
- Essential qualifications: B.Tech./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry/Botany/Life Sciences with valid GATE/NET score.
- Desirable: Prior experience in chemical reactor fabrication, carrying out gas chromatography analysis of gas, liquid samples, conducting material and energy balance etc. is desirable. Preliminary understanding of catalyst synthesis and characterization will be an added advantage. The candidate will be expected to be able to estimate kinetic parameters from chemical reaction.

Salary/Stipend
- Rs. 31,000 per month and 16% HRA
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All other factors being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

- Interview date will be communicated via email. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated through email to appear for the interview in physical mode. No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview. PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit by qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- Candidates may subsequently register for PhD program in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, IIT (BHU) Varanasi if they fulfil other requisite criteria as per PG ordinance of the institute.
