IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 Notification
The official notification for IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 was released on October 1, 2025, marking the beginning of the application window for one of India's most prestigious design entrance exams. UCEED, conducted annually by IIT Bombay, serves as the gateway for admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at top IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
The exam will take place on January 18, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 noon. Registration must be completed online via the official portal, with all required documents and eligibility criteria in place before the application deadline.
UCEED 2026 continues to be open to candidates from all educational streams, reflecting its commitment to interdisciplinary design education. Only UCEED-qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the B.Des joint seat allocation, which is managed separately by the participating institutes after exam results are announced in March 2026

IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates—born on or after October 1, 2001; SC/ST/PwD—on or after October 1, 1996
- Attempts: Maximum twice, in consecutive years
- Qualifying Exams: Must have appeared for Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026
- Streams: Any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts)

- Total Marks: 300 (two parts)
