Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS/M.Des or equivalent degree or having 3 years of Research, Teaching and design & Development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/M.E/M.Tech with at least one research paper in science citation (SCI Journal).
- Essential: Person having a strong background in Design Innovation and Development, Human Factors & Ergonomics in wearable robotics, Product Sketching & Ideation, CAD Modeling (for prototyping, fabrication, manufacture), 3D rendering, Prototype fabrication skills (Fabric Stitching, Pattern making, 3D printing), Usability testing, Industrial Design Process methods, Mechanical testing.
- Desirable skills: Candidate with prior knowledge and hands on experience in CAD modeling, 3D printing and Mechanical design / fabrication.
Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated Fellowship: Rs.58,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 27%

General Information / Instructions
- Appointment on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.
- The posts may be downgraded as per discretion of the Selection Committee if none of the candidate is found suitable for the post.
- 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates.
- In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
- IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates.
- Project involves design and development of an exosuit, a soft wearable robotic device, for upper limb augmentation (interdisciplinary: control, brain-machine interface, biomechanics, materials, machine learning, human physiology).
