Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification for Junior Coach: XII with Certificate/Level Courses in Sports Coaching from respective Sports Federation or Six-week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching from (NIS)
- Experience for Junior Coach: 2 years of experience in sports coaching in premier / recognized organization
- Qualification for Coach: Graduation in any subject and Diploma in Coaching from SAI/NS-NIS or from any other recognized institution in the relevant Sports OR Bachelor's in Physical Education from a recognized University.
- Experience for Coach: 2 years of experience in premier / recognized organization post educational qualification
- Qualification for Senior Coach: Graduation in any subject and Diploma in Coaching from SAI/NS-NIS or from any other recognized institution in the relevant Sports OR Bachelor's in Physical Education from recognized University.
- Experience for Senior Coach: 6 years of experience in premier / recognized organization post educational qualification
Salary / Stipend
- Junior Coach: (₹30,000 – 40,000)
- Coach: (₹45,000 – 55,000)
- Senior Coach: (₹56,000 – 65,000)

General Information / Instructions
- The candidates are required to appear for the Walk-in-Interview with their latest CV along with the filled Application Form scheduled at 09:00 am on January 31, 2026. In case of large number of candidates, the interview may be extended by a day i.e. on February 1, 2026.
- Filling out the Application Form and submission of CV is mandatory for the consideration of candidature.
- Preference may be accorded to women coaches.
- All qualifications should have been acquired from Universities/ Institutes/ Boards/ Councils etc. recognized by appropriate Statutory Authorities. Relevant education certificates should be attached along with the application form.
- The experience certificate should be on the letterhead of the Company/ Institute/ Organization and should mention the details of post, pay, duration of employment, and nature of the job performing / performed.
- The requirements of minimum qualification, experience, and/or age may be relaxed in the case of candidates with outstanding credentials/skills, at the discretion of the Institute.
- The candidature of the applicant shall be subject to verification of original testimonials at the time of the interview. In case, the candidate fails to submit the required supporting documents as mentioned in the CV/ application form, his / her candidature may not be considered for the interview.
- The selected candidate, on appointment, shall be entitled for leave as per HCU (Sports) rules for contractual staff.
- The appointment is not a regular employment and does not entitle any claim privileges or benefits of regular employment.
- In case the information furnished by the candidate in any part is found to be false or incomplete or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement, the candidature/ engagement will be considered revoked / terminated.
- Any sort of canvassing or influencing the official related to the recruitment / selection process would result in immediate disqualification of the candidate.
- The Institute reserves the right not to fill up/cancel the advertised post without assigning any reason.
- The decision of HCU (Sports) in matters of selection and remuneration will be final and binding.
- Mere fulfillment of the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. Further, even if a candidate meets the required qualifications for a particular post, the selection committee may, at its discretion, recommend the candidate for a lower position.
