Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: For candidates with M.Tech./ME/MS as qualifying degree in Metallurgy, Ceramic, Polymer/Plastic, Mechanical, Chemical Technology, Rubber Technology, Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Steel Technology, Process Metallurgy, Welding Engineering, Industrial Metallurgy, Foundry and forge, Production engineering, Surface Science/Engineering and relevant fields: first class (minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CPI) in M.Tech./ME/MS with GATE/NET qualifications and first class (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI) in B.Tech./BE, 12th and 10th with minimum 2 years' experience as JRF.
- Qualification: For candidates with B. Tech./BE/M.Sc as qualifying degree in the following selected disciplines (Metallurgy, Ceramic, Polymer/Plastic, Mechanical, Chemical Technology, Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics and Chemistry, Foundary and forge, Production engineering), 75% marks or 8.0 CPI in B.Tech./BE form institutes other than IITs/IISc and 7.0 CPI in B.Tech. from IITs and IISc with valid GATE score and first class (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI) in 12th and 10th class along with minimum 2 years' experience as JRF.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as JRF.
- Desirable Qualification: Working/research experience in the field of Ceramic/metal composites, Nanocomposites, Environmental engineering, Composite fabrication techniques, Microstructure and Phase analysis, Mechanical and Tribological characterization will be given preference.
Salary/ Stipend
- Rs. 42000/- + (@9% HRA) Rs. 3780/- = 45,780 Rs
Age Limit
- The age should not exceed 28 years for a candidate with BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. degree as the highest qualification and 32 years for a candidate with ME/M.Tech/MS degree as the highest qualification.
- Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/women/PD will be given as per the GOI norms.
