JEPBN 2026 is a state-level entrance test conducted by WBJEEB exclusively for admission to the Post Basic Nursing course in West Bengal. JEPBN 2026 Eligibility Criteria

JEPBN 2026 Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have passed the 10+2 level examination from any recognised board listed on the WBJEEB website.

• Candidate must have passed the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

• Candidate must obtain registration or RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.

Step-by-Step Application Process for JEPBN 2026

1. Registration
   Enter personal details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification details, address, mobile number and email ID and create a password.
   After submission, an application number is generated and sent via SMS or email.

2. Fill Application Form
   Provide additional information including domicile, category, PwD status, religion, nationality and academic details.

3. Upload Images
   Upload recent colour photograph (10 to 200 KB) and signature (4 to 30 KB) in JPG/JPEG format in one step.
   If there is any discrepancy in images as communicated by SMS or email, correct it within one day or admit card will not be issued.

4. Pay Examination Fee
   Pay the examination fee of ₹3000 plus applicable bank service charges through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI or QR Code.
   Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances, and candidates are advised not to wait till the last day to pay.

5. Download Confirmation Page
   After successful payment and completion of steps, download and safely keep the confirmation page; the application remains incomplete until this page is generated.

6. Application Correction
   Mostly all data except primary registration data can be corrected only during the notified correction period via login; WBJEEB will not entertain corrections after that.

• Reservations are available for SC, ST, OBC-Category-A (More Backwards), OBC-Category-B (Backwards), PwD and EWS categories as per notified Government orders.

• Reserved seats are only for candidates domiciled in West Bengal, and valid certificates from competent authorities are mandatory.

• OBC certificates issued before a certain date must be revalidated with specific classification of Category A or B.

• Seat matrix for session 2026-27 will be declared separately by Department of Health and Family Welfare and WBUHS and published on the Board’s website before counselling.

• Some seats in certain institutes or courses may not be offered through e-counselling and will not appear in the seat matrix.
