What is JoSAA Counselling 2026?
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the centralized admission process conducted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It provides eligible candidates admission into undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech) at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) across India.

How to Register and Fill Choices for JoSAA 2026
- Visit the official website: https://josaa.nic.in
- Click on “New Candidate Registration”.
- Verify your identity using JEE Main 2026 Application Number, Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile and email.
- Create a strong password and log in.
- Verify all personal and academic details.
- Fill your choices of institutes and programmes in order of preference.
- Save and lock your choices before the deadline.
Important Tips:
- You can rearrange your choices multiple times before the deadline.
- Lock your choices by 5 PM on June 11, 2026. If not locked manually, the system will auto-lock the last saved choices.
- Upload required documents and keep the Seat Acceptance Fee ready.
