Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification
- A First-Class Bachelor's degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences
- A Master's Degree in the concerned faculty with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent grade
- A Ph.D. degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences or equivalent qualification
- Essential Qualification
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality
- Desirable Qualification
- Experience of not less than five years in managing an important research institute or experimental station or research laboratory or teaching institute
- Significant accomplishment in the field of research as evidenced by publication of papers of academic excellence in scientific journals
- Experience
- At least 15 years' experience in teaching and or research and or extension education work in Veterinary or Allied Sciences of which not less than 5 years shall be as Professor or its equivalent post
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor

Selection Process
- The maximum number of candidates to be called for the personal interview for the selection in the University is fixed as follows
- Minimum 50% marks in personal interview of the candidate is must to make recommendation for selection
- Candidate shall remain present at every stage of the recruitment process
General Information / Instructions
- The unfilled posts advertised vide Advertised No. 01/2024 and Advertised No. 02/2024 dated 14.03.2024 stands withdrawn / cancelled.
- If candidate applied for any post in past will have to make a fresh application.
- Before filling / submitting the application form, candidates are advised to go through the qualifications prescribed for the post (enclosed) and make sure that they possess the same. Any request or representation to correct any error or omission in the submitted application or information filled in by the candidate shall not be accepted.
- Relevant information / any change / any communication in context to advertisement, screening test, interview call etc. will be displayed on Kamdhenu University website from time to time. All the candidates are requested to visit the University website regularly without fail.
- Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application for each post along with separate processing fees.
- All candidates are required to fill a single online application form only. For reserve category candidates (SEBC, ST, SC, EWS), no separate application for the General category is required (Conditionally they are having valid cast certificates and fulfilling criteria of General Category).
- Envelope containing the application should be subscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________ (DISCIPLINE: ___________)”.
- The candidate must upload legible copy(ies) of all the relevant documents during filling online application form. The original certificates would be required at the time of interview only.
- For the posts mentioned in Sr. No. 1-12, Candidates must submit self-attested hard copies of all documents uploaded online on the Kamdhenu University Portal (in addition to their API related documents /Summary Form/ supporting documents) to the Registrar, Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar by Speed Post/Courier on or before 07/02/2026.
- For the posts mentioned in Sr. No. 13,14, and 15 (i.e. Assistant Professor & its equivalent in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Dairy Science & Fisheries Science) candidates required to submit ONLINE APPLICATION ONLY. Submission of hard copies of documents to the Registrar's Office is not required for these posts. The original documents will be verified at the time of the personal interview.
- Documentary proof in support of previous experience and academic qualifications indicated in the application must be sent along with the application, failing of which shall mean to believe that candidate does not possess the requisite experience and qualifications mentioned therein and such incomplete applications will be rejected. For teaching posts, API form must be filled in API form and is applicable to the candidates who are applying for the post of Associate Director of Research/ Principal / Professor & its equivalent / Associate Professor & its equivalent.
- The candidate should possess the basic knowledge of computer application and should have passed CCC+ examination; if not, he / she will have to pass the same during the probation period, failing which his/her probation period will not be regularized.
- The most important entries in this form are details of academic qualifications, list of publications, teaching, research, and extension experience and employment record. Please make sure that all the details are given in the prescribed format.
- With reference to the publications, please give detailed list of titles of papers on separate sheet (if required). At the time of online submission, candidates need to upload first page of the research paper only.
- Please note that the titles of the publications are not to be lumped together but classified as original research papers, text books, reports, bulletin, conference or seminar papers, extension literature, books etc. under separate heads.
- Kindly enlist the published or printed papers. One may give reference of the papers which have already been accepted for publication by a Journal, with proof of the same.
- Furnishing false information or suppression of any factual information in the application would be a disqualification and candidate will not be considered for employment under this University. Any such false information comes to the notice at any point of time during the service of a person; his / her service would be liable to be terminated.
