Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Common for all posts): A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948) AND a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the respective specialty.
- Essential qualifications: Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College. Should be registered with the State Dental Council.
Salary/Stipend
- Remuneration is on the basis of Basic Pay of the minimum of the Pay Matrix Level i.e. Level – 11 (Rs. 67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/-) plus all other allowances including NPA.
- Income Tax will be deducted at source on a monthly basis. Contractual appointees are not eligible for benefits admissible to Government employees.
Age Limit (as on 30-12-2025)
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation as per rules). The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications.

Selection Process
- The selection will be made through a Computer based written screening test, which is qualifying only.
- Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS-50%, OBC-45%, SC/ST/PwD–40%.
- Only candidates who qualify the written screening test will be called for interview (not more than 3 times the number of vacancies).
- Candidates will be formally evaluated based on their performance in both the screening test and interview.
General Information/Instructions
- The appointment to the post of Assistant Professor is purely on a contractual basis, initially for a period of 44 days only, or until the regular incumbent joins.
- The appointment can be extended subject to availability of vacancy and satisfactory work/conduct.
- The candidate is liable to be posted to any set up managed by MAIDS.
- Selected candidates must be able to join immediately (maximum within 07 days of offer letter issue).
- Only one application should be submitted per post. Incomplete applications or those without certified copies of essential documents will be rejected.
