MHT CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Educational qualification: Passed or appearing in Class 12 (HSC) or equivalent from a recognised board.
- For Engineering (B.E/B.Tech): Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects/Computer Science/IT, etc.
- For Pharmacy (B.Pharm): Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology as the third subject.
- Minimum marks: At least 45% aggregate in Class 12 for General category; 40% for reserved categories (Maharashtra state).
- Appearing candidates: Students appearing in HSC/12th in 2026 are eligible.
- Additional provisions: Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates with Mathematics may be eligible for certain admissions as per rules.

MHT CET 2026 Application Process (Step‑by‑Step)
Registration on CET Cell portal
- Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and open the MHT CET 2026 registration link.
- Click on “New Registration” and enter name, mobile number, email ID, date of birth and other basic details to create a login.
Create login credentials
- Set a password, confirm OTP sent to mobile/email and complete registration.
- Note the system‑generated application number/User ID for future login.
Fill personal and contact details
- Login and enter personal information, parent details, gender, category, religion, region and annual family income.
- Provide permanent and correspondence address accurately.
Domicile and category details
- Fill domicile status (Maharashtra/Other), caste/category, EWS, PwD, orphan details as applicable.
Qualification details
- Enter SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12)/equivalent exam details – board, year of passing/appearing, marks, school name, etc.
MHT CET exam details
- Choose the group (PCM/PCB or both) and preferred exam centre/city.
