Eligibility Criteria
- Executive Engineer (Civil): Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
- Five years’ experience in executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance, preferably of Port and Marine Structures, in an Industrial/Commercial/Government Undertaking.
- Trainee Pilot: Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India or equivalent qualification recognised by the same Ministry.
- One year post-qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of Foreign going ship.
- Indian citizens with foreign Certificate of Competency recognized by India must acquire relevant endorsement from DG Shipping.
- Dy. Chief Engineer: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
- Twelve years’ experience in executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance, preferably of Port and Marine Structures, in an Industrial/Commercial/Government Undertaking.
- Sr. Dy. Secretary: A degree from a recognised University.
- Twelve years’ experience in executive cadre in General Administration, Personnel, Industrial Relations etc. in an Industrial/Commercial/Government Undertaking.
- Desirable: Post Graduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Social Work/Labour Welfare or allied subjects, or degree in Law from a recognised University/Institution.
Salary/Stipend
- Executive Engineer (Civil): Pay scale Rs. 50,000-1,60,000/- (pre-revised Rs. 20,600-46,500/-; Rs. 10,750-16,750).
- Trainee Pilot: Pay scale Rs. 70,000-2,00,000/-.
- Dy. Chief Engineer: Pay scale Rs. 80,000-2,20,000/-.
- Sr. Dy. Secretary: Pay scale Rs. 80,000-2,20,000/-.
- Pay package includes Basic Pay, DA based on IDA pattern and Cafeteria allowance @ 35% of Basic Pay.
- Additional benefits: Gratuity, HRA or quarters, Medical benefits, leave encashment etc. as per Mormugao Port Authority rules and Government of India guidelines.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- The crucial date for determining educational qualification, experience and age is 01.01.2026.
- Executive Engineer (Civil): Maximum age 35 years.
- Trainee Pilot: Maximum age 40 years.
- Dy. Chief Engineer: Maximum age 42 years.
- Sr. Dy. Secretary: Maximum age 42 years.
- Age relaxation for different categories will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
- Regular employees of Board of Major Port Authorities of India possessing required qualification and experience may apply with an upper age limit of 55 years.

Selection Process
- Selection will be through written examination or/and interview, depending on the number of applications received.
- Where both written examination and interview are conducted, weightage of marks will be 85% for written examination and 15% for interview.

- Management reserves the right to cancel the selection process without any reference to the candidate.

General Information/Instructions
- Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment on regular basis to the notified posts in Mormugao Port Authority, Headland, Sada, Goa.
- Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Government of India guidelines; candidates must submit and later produce original category certificates as required.
