Eligibility Criteria for MPESB Group-5 Paramedical 2026

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from a recognized board. In addition, candidates must hold a relevant Diploma/Degree/Certificate in the concerned subject from a recognized institution, along with a valid registration with the Madhya Pradesh Para-Medical Council (MP Sah-Chikitsiya Parishad). The exact minimum educational qualification varies post-wise as specified in Chapter-2 of the official notification. Some examples are as follows:

• Staff Nurse: 10+2 with Biology group + 3-year General Nursing programme OR 4-year GNM Diploma from a recognized institution + registration with a recognized Nursing Council.
• Pharmacist Grade-2: 10+2 with Biology group + Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy + registration with MP Pharmacy Council.
• Dental Technician: 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry & Physics + Diploma in relevant subject from a recognized institution + MP Para-Medical Council registration.
• Ayurvedic Compounder: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board + 1-year Ayurvedic Compounder training from a recognized institution + registration with MP Para-Medical Council.
• Lab Attendant / Dresser Grade-2 / Dissection Hall Attendant: 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Compounder (Aushadhi Sanyojak): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology + Diploma in Pharmacy from an MP Govt.-recognized institution + Pharmacy Council registration + minimum 3 years of work experience as a Compounder.

Candidates must possess the required qualification as on the date of application submission. Qualifications acquired after the closing date of the application will not be considered.

2. Age Limit

The age limit for MPESB Group-5 Paramedical Recruitment 2026 is:

Selection Process for MPESB Group-5 Paramedical 2026

Candidates will be selected based on the following process as specified in the official notification:

• Online Written Examination: A single objective-type question paper of 100 marks will be conducted online. The paper consists of two sections: (a) General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Science & General Aptitude — 25 marks; (b) Technical/Trade-based questions — 75 marks. Duration: 2 hours per shift.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Normalisation: Results will be prepared using the Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) scaling technique in case the exam is held in multiple shifts.
