MPESB PNST 2026 Eligibility Criteria

PNST 2026 Cut-Off Marks
To be considered for the merit list, candidates must score at or above the minimum qualifying percentile defined for their category. Scoring marks is not enough candidates must meet the percentile threshold listed below.

In the event of a tie, the board will first compare Biology marks, followed by Chemistry, Physics, and English. If marks remain equal after this, the older candidate is given a higher rank.
How to Apply for MPESB PNST 2026
Applications for PNST 2026 must be submitted online only through the official MP Online portal. The steps below cover the entire process from registration to form submission.
- Go to the official portal: www.mponline.gov.in or www.esb.mponline.gov.in
- Click on the PNST 2026 application link and select "New Registration"
- Enter your name, date of birth, father's name, mobile number, and email ID
- Verify the OTP received on your registered mobile or email
- Fill in all personal, academic, and other required details
- Upload the following documents in JPG format:
- Recent colour photograph (white background, both ears visible, not older than 3 months, name and date written on it)
- Scanned signature
- Handwriting sample

MPESB PNST 2026 Selection Process and Counselling
Clearing the PNST exam is only the first step. The selection process has two distinct stages merit list preparation and counselling before a seat is finally allotted.
Stage 1 - Online Examination and Merit List
After the exam, MPESB prepares a merit list based on the percentile scores of all qualifying candidates. Candidates who meet the minimum cut-off for their category are included in this list.
Stage 2 - Counselling by MP Nurses Registration Council
Once the merit list is published, the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council takes over and conducts the counselling rounds. A separate schedule for choice filling and seat allotment is released at that time. Selected candidates must report to their allotted college with original documents, including marksheets, category certificates, a valid ID, and a medical fitness certificate. Any discrepancy or missing document leads to immediate seat cancellation.
Note for regular department staff: ANM workers and other government health employees joining through PNST 2026 must sign a bond of ₹5 lakh, committing to serve the state health department for a minimum of 5 years after completing the course.
