Selection Process

The overall selection process for this post consisted of:

  1. A qualifying/written stage that shortlisted candidates for interview (percentage from this stage was also used for tie-breaking in the final merit).
  2. Personal interview, conducted in two phases - 18-19 December 2025 for the initial round, and 2 June 2026 for additional candidates added under High Court directions.111

As per the notification, in case of a tie in interview marks, preference is given first to candidates with higher marks obtained in a prescribed additional criterion, and if still tied, to the candidate with higher age.

  • MPPSC reserves the right to correct the result if any computer or clerical error is later found.
  • The previously declared selection list and marks list dated 31.12.2025 (List No. 13297/46/2025 and 13298/46/2025) stand cancelled and removed from the Commission's website with immediate effect.
  • The revised result remains subject to the final outcome of pending cases before the Hon'ble Supreme Court (SLP No. 8764/2023, SLP No. 12398/2023) and the Hon'ble High Court (WP No. 5901/2019, WP No. 5596/2024) and other connected petitions.
  • Out of the 40 main-portion posts, 12 posts remain vacant due to non-availability of sufficient eligible candidates in certain reserved and Divyang categories, as explained in the official notification.
