Note: As per Government Order No. 07-46/2021 dated 29.09.2022, 87% posts are reserved for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates and 13% posts are for direct recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Graduate degree from a recognized University
• Knowledge of Hindi at High School level (Class 10) is mandatory
• Candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at matriculation level or above
• Valid domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh (for reserved category candidates)
• Degree must be from UGC recognized University or equivalent

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized University
• Hindi language proficiency at Class 10 level or equivalent
• For specific posts, relevant educational qualifications as mentioned in detailed notification
• Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office

Desirable

• Experience in administrative work and government procedures
• Knowledge of Madhya Pradesh government schemes and policies
• Working knowledge of computer applications
• Experience in public dealing and documentation

Experience

• No prior experience is mandatory for most posts
• Fresh graduates can apply
• Relevant administrative experience will be an added advantage

Salary/Stipend

• Deputy Collector: ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 per month
• Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development: ₹15,600 - ₹39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400
• Block Development Officer: ₹15,600 - ₹39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400
• District Employment Officer: ₹56,200 - ₹1,77,500 (7th Pay Commission)
• Police Sub Inspector: ₹15,600 - ₹39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400
• Assistant Registrar Cooperative: ₹9,300 - ₹34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200
• Labour Officer: ₹9,300 - ₹34,800 + Grade Pay ₹3,600
• Dearness Allowance: As applicable as per Government norms
• House Rent Allowance: As per posting location
• Transport Allowance: As per Government rules
• Other Benefits: Medical facilities, LTC, pension and other admissible allowances

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation
• OBC Candidates: 3 years relaxation
• PwD Candidates (Unreserved): 10 years relaxation
• PwD Candidates (OBC): 13 years relaxation
• PwD Candidates (SC/ST): 15 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: Actual service rendered + 3 years, maximum age 48 years
• Women Candidates (Unreserved): 5 years relaxation
• Women Candidates (OBC): 8 years relaxation
• Women Candidates (SC/ST): 10 years relaxation
• Widows/Divorced/Separated Women: Maximum age limit of 48 years irrespective of category
• Age relaxation as per Madhya Pradesh Government orders will be applicable

Payment Details

• Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
• Portal Fee: ₹50/- (Non-Refundable) for all categories
• Correction Fee Period: 10.02.2026 to 16.02.2026 (till 12:00 noon) - ₹3,000/-
• Final Submission Fee Period: 17.02.2026 to 01.04.2026 (till 12:00 noon) - ₹25,000/-
• Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances
• Candidates must keep the payment receipt safely for future reference

Selection Process

• The selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview
• Preliminary Examination: Objective type with two papers (Qualifying in nature)
• Paper I: General Studies - 100 questions of 200 marks, Duration: 2 hours
• Paper II: General Aptitude Test (CSAT) - 80 questions of 200 marks, Duration: 2 hours
• Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted for each wrong answer
• Candidates who qualify the preliminary examination will be eligible for main examination
• Main Examination: Written examination with multiple papers on various subjects
• Interview/Personality Test: Qualified candidates from main examination will be called
• Final selection based on combined marks of main examination and interview
• Merit list will be prepared category-wise
• Selected candidates will be appointed subject to document verification and medical fitness

General Information/Instructions

• Candidates must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan
• Only online applications will be accepted through official website
• Candidates must have valid email ID and mobile number for registration
• All certificates and documents must be in scanned format before applying
• Photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format with prescribed size
• Photograph: Maximum 50 KB, Signature: Maximum 20 KB
• Application form once submitted cannot be changed except during correction window

• Step 8: Select examination center preference from available options
• Step 9: Verify all entered information carefully before submission

• Step 11: After submission, click on "Proceed for Payment"

• Step 13: After successful payment, status will show "Payment Done"
