Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Graduate degree from a recognized University
  • Knowledge of Hindi at High School level (Class 10) is mandatory
  • Candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at matriculation level or above
  • Valid domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh (for reserved category candidates)
  • Degree must be from UGC recognized University or equivalent

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized University
  • Hindi language proficiency at Class 10 level or equivalent
  • For specific posts, relevant educational qualifications as mentioned in detailed notification
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office

Desirable

  • Experience in administrative work and government procedures
  • Knowledge of Madhya Pradesh government schemes and policies

Selection Process

  • The selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview
  • Preliminary Examination: Objective type with two papers (Qualifying in nature)
  • Paper I: General Studies - 100 questions of 200 marks, Duration: 2 hours
  • Paper II: General Aptitude Test (CSAT) - 80 questions of 200 marks, Duration: 2 hours
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted for each wrong answer
  • Candidates who qualify the preliminary examination will be eligible for main examination
  • Main Examination: Written examination with multiple papers on various subjects
  • Interview/Personality Test: Qualified candidates from main examination will be called
  • Final selection based on combined marks of main examination and interview
  • Merit list will be prepared category-wise
  • Selected candidates will be appointed subject to document verification and medical fitness

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan
