Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Full Time B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA.
- Essential qualifications: Candidates should have qualified in the GATE-2023/2024/2025 in Civil/Electrical respective discipline.
Salary/Stipend
- The selected candidates will be placed in the IDA equivalent E1/40,000-140000 grade. They shall be paid Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/-, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Cafeteria Allowances and other allowances, medical facilities and leave as per the policy of the corporation.
Age Limit (as on 16-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Relaxation in Upper Age Limit : 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL), subject to submission of a copy of Caste Certificate/OBC (NCL) certificate along with NCL declaration, in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India for "Appointment to Posts under Govt. of India" from a competent authority, at the time of application and interview, if called for.

Selection Process
- Only those candidates eligible in all respects and have qualified in the relevant GATE 2023/2024/2025 Score and have submitted their applications with all necessary documents shall only be considered for further selection process in MRVC.
- Based on their GATE Score, candidates shall be shortlisted for document verification and personal interview on the basis of discipline-wise category-wise merit list (Not more than 5 times of vacancies).
- In case a candidate does not appear for document verification along with original documents, his/her candidature shall be rejected.
- Upon completion of document Verification, the candidates shall be Personally Interviewed.
- Candidates shall obtain information about their status through the Corporation's website only.
- Weightage to Different Parameters: GATE score (out of 100) 80%, Personal Interview 20%.
- The qualifying percentage of marks in the personal interview is 60%.
- In case of a tie in the total marks (GATE Score weightage + Personal Interview marks) scored between two or more candidates, following criteria will be adopted in order of sequence for deciding position in merit list: The candidate having higher score in the relevant GATE examination will be ranked higher. Where GATE scores are tied, candidates older in age shall be placed higher in the merit list. Where both GATE score and date of birth are tied, candidates with higher marks in qualifying degree shall be placed higher in the merit list.
General Information/Instructions
- Candidature of a candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of engagement process or after engagement or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is false or is found to be not in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
- Candidates if shortlisted for document verification and Personal Interview are required to bring their valid GATE- Admit Card and GATE Score Card, Engineering Graduation Mark Sheet, Engineering Graduation Certificate, PG certificate if any, SSC Mark Sheet, Date of Birth Certificate/ID proof, SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS Certificate as the case may be, copy of the Application Form and recent Passport size photograph (photograph should match with the one pasted in the Application Form) for verification with other relevant documents at the time of document verification.
- Photocopies of the original identification documents shall not be acceptable. Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the personal interview if original and valid photo ID proof is not presented along with the GATE Admit Card and Score Card.
- Valid OBC-NCL/EWS certificate should be produced as per the format at Annexure II & III valid on the closing date of the application.
- Candidates employed with Government Departments / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies have to produce NOC failing which they would not be allowed to appear for document verification.
- Candidates must correctly enter their name, date of birth, qualification details. Applications once submitted cannot be altered. Accordingly, no request for change in applicant's data after submission of application shall be entertained.
- MRVC reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge/ modify / alter the engagement process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason whatsoever.
- Only Indian Nationals of age 18 years or above are eligible to apply for the post.
- Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in this advertisement.
- Essential qualification should be recognized in India and from a recognized Institution or University.
- Date of issuance of final mark sheet shall be taken as the date of acquiring qualification.
- Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University / Institute.
- Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree shall be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks shall be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.
- Marks in Essential Qualification will not be rounded off for deciding eligibility of any candidate.
- Mere submission of application to MRVC does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for further selection process.
