Position 1: Dental Consultant Specialist

• Number of Posts: 1

Essential Qualifications

• MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology, OR
• MDS in Public Health Dentistry
• From a Dental Institute recognized and registered by Dental Council of India

Desirable Qualifications

• 5 years experience in relevant field post MDS
• Diploma in Tobacco Control
• Preferably having experience in tobacco control

Job Description

• Involvement with Tobacco Cessation Centre (TCC) in diagnosis and treatment of tobacco-related oral diseases.
• Interdepartmental referral and consultation for related systemic conditions.
• Professional services, initial patient identification and preliminary counselling.
• Identification of community sites, planning and coordination of tobacco de-addiction and awareness programmes in schools, institutes, health centres.
• Prescription of Pharmacotherapy (NRT or relevant medications) as per patient needs.
• Staff training for capacity building.
• Performance of various administrative tasks under general supervision.

Position 2: Consultant (Psychiatry)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Upper Age Limit: 62 years (as on last date of receipt of application)
• Visiting Schedule: Twice a week on working days
• Salary: Rs. 6,000/- per visiting day (subject to ceiling limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- per month)
• Engagement Nature: 1 Year (Extendable)
• Selection Mode: Walk-in Interview

Essential Qualifications

• MD in Psychiatry from NMC (National Medical Commission) recognized and registered medical institute

Desirable Qualifications

• 2 years experience in relevant field post MD
• Relevant experience in counselling patients in academic institution/hospital setting or mental health clinic
• Excellent communication skills

Job Description

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and take detailed medical histories.
• Diagnose based on symptoms and prior medical treatment.
• Treat psychiatric conditions using conservative approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Explain tobacco de-addiction treatment plans to patients and families, providing familial support.
• Prescribe medication on a conservative basis to treat verifiable mental health diseases and conditions.
• Coordinate programmes for tobacco de-addiction and awareness among schools, institutes, health centres.
• Performance of tasks assigned by TCC in-charge.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must fulfill criteria as on the last date of receipt of application (13th February 2026).
• Educational qualifications must be from recognized institutions.
• Age limit is strictly adhered to.
• Original certificates required at the time of interview.

Salary & Benefits

Important Note: For retired employees: A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible by deducting the basic pension from pay drawn at retirement. No annual increment or percentage increase during engagement period.

Engagement Details

• Engagement is preferably for one year and extendable for further period at the discretion of competent authority.
• Engagement is purely on temporary basis and subject to termination at any time without assigning any reason.
• Monthly/visiting remuneration may be reviewed from time to time, subject to approval of authorized committees.
• No retrospective salary adjustments.
