- Essential Qualification: 1. MBBS from recognized Medical Institution/University. 2. Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology(M.S)/ DNB in Ophthalmology or Diploma in Ophthalmology.
- Desirable Qualification: 1. Competency in Small Incision Cataract Surgery/Phacoemulsification 2. Trained in other sub-specialities (Cornea, Glaucoma and Medical Retina) 3. Exposure in Community Ophthalmology with experience in holding Community Screening and Eye Health Education.

- Willing candidates having requisite qualification as mentioned above may apply in plain paper with self-attested copies of all testimonial and 2 nos. recent passport size photograph and submit to the Office of the STATE PROGRAMME OFFICER, NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR CONTROL OF BLINDNESS AND VISUAL IMPAIRMENT, 2ND FLOOR , NHM BUILDING, C-Sector, OPPOSITE BSNL OFFICE, Naharlagun on or before 4 PM of 27 January 2026.
- The candidate shall mention the name of POST applied for on the top of the envelope.
- Mode of recruitment: Walk-in-interview.
- Application received after the closing date & time will be not accepted.
- Reservation for APST candidates will be as per Govt. norms.
- The applicants shall have no claims in future for regular appointment in the post
- Name of Eligible candidates will be displayed in the NHM office Notice board,
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
- The appointment shall be given against the mentioned Health Institutions only, hence no request for change of location shall be entertained.
- The undersigned reserved the right to reject any or all application without assigning any reason thereof.
