Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications (Mechanical Engineer): Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience (Mechanical Engineer): Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar activities (mechanical testing of implants), working knowledge of computer application software.
• Qualifications (Civil Engineer): Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience (Civil Engineer): Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project execution, site operations management, budget handling, material procurement, project progress monitoring, repair and maintenance of buildings, and liaising with technical professionals.
• Desirable (Civil Engineer): Experience of working in Government organizations and proficiency in CAD software.
• Qualifications (Junior Accountant): B.Com from a recognized University/institute.
• Experience (Junior Accountant): At least 3 years of experience in management of annual accounts, preparation and finalization of balance sheets, general accounting tasks, handling various financial processes and knowledge of tally and PFMS and other accounting software/excel/data analytics.
• Desirable (Junior Accountant): M.Com /MBA in Finance.
• Qualifications (Estate & Security Supervisor): Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience (Estate & Security Supervisor): Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling security and estate-related responsibilities in a similar type of institute.

Salary/Stipend

• Consolidated salary for Mechanical Engineer and Civil Engineer: Rs. 45,000- 55,000/- per month only.
• Consolidated salary for Junior Accountant and Estate & Security Supervisor: Rs. 40,000 – 50,000/- per month only.
• The consolidated emoluments are only indicative and shall be decided by the Selection Committee for the selected candidate based on his/her relevant experience and qualification.
• No other perks or allowances are admissible.

Age Limit (as on 24-12-2025)

• Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years for all mentioned posts.

Selection Process

• The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates based on qualifications and experience provided in the application.
• The exact date and time for holding physical/virtual interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail or telephonically.
• Candidates must produce original documents during verification and interview, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear.
• The decision of the Competent Authority, NIPER-A will be final and binding in all matters relating to selection.

General Information/Instructions

• These positions are specifically for the Centre of Excellence (CoE) at NIPER-Ahmedabad and are strictly on a contractual and project basis.
• There are no provisions for transitioning into permanent roles at the institute.
• The engagement shall initially be for one year and may be continued up to maximum duration of the project based on the performance assessment (evaluated every six months).
• The appointment will be on a full-time basis, and the incumbent will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of contract.
• No TA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
