- Assistant Env. Engineer (Group-B) Level-10: Bachelor Engineering (BE) / Bachelor Technology (B.Tech) / Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) (Section A &B) in the following streams / subject: Civil Engineering /Chemical Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / IT /Mining Engineering /Mechanical Engineering and Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering and Environmental Engineering
- Assistant Env. Scientist (Group-B) Level-10: M.SC in the following streams / subject: Chemistry / Geology & Geophysics / Statistics /Life Science / Environmental Science & Engineering / Environmental Science
- Senior Scientific Assistant (Group-B) Level-09: M.Sc in /Chemistry/Life Science/Env. Science/ Marine Biology/ Zoology/Biotechnology/Microbiology) from recognized University
- Junior Laboratory Assistant (Group-C) Level-04: B.Sc pass (Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology) from recognized University
- Accountant (Group-B) Level-09: B.Com pass from a recognized university/Institution and DCA/PGDCA inter with Completed Eight years working experience in Govt. agency, PSU, Statutory Board/ Corporation
- Junior Accountant (Group-C) Level-04: B.Com pass from a recognized university/Institution with PGDCA on computer applications and proficiency in Tally software
- Junior Assistant (Group-C) Level-04: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/Institute with PGDCA on computer applications
- Assistant Section Officer (Group-B) Level-09: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution with PGDCA on computer applications and 5 years working experience in Govt. agency, PSU, Statutory Board/ Corporation
Salary/Stipend
- Assistant Env. Engineer (Group-B) Level-10: Level 10, Cell-1, Pay Scale: ₹44,900/- to ₹1,42,400/- per month
- Assistant Env. Scientist (Group-B) Level-10: Level 10, Cell-1, Pay Scale: ₹44,900/- to ₹1,42,400/- per month

Age Limit (as on 1st day of January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years (as on 1st day of January 2026)
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Serviceman: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Serviceman
- Age Relaxation for PWDs: The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 (ten) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more
- Age Relaxation for SPC Board's Internal Candidates: Persons with disabilities belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefit. The age relaxation for SPC Board's, Odisha, internal candidates will be the number of years put by the candidates in their respective posts
