Pondicherry University will admit students to its undergraduate and integrated programmes for the academic year 2026-27 on the basis of CUET (UG) 2026 scores as per the NTA CUET framework and the university’s own admission schedule.
CUET (UG) 2026 will be held in CBT mode from 11–31 May 2026 (tentative), and candidates must first apply for CUET via the NTA portal and later complete a separate Pondicherry University counselling/registration process after the CUET results are declared.

Pondicherry University 2026-27 Eligibility
- There is no upper or lower age limit prescribed for appearing in CUET (UG) 2026 for any candidate.
- Candidates who have already passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination are eligible to appear in CUET (UG) 2026.
- Candidates who are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent in the year 2026 are also allowed to take CUET (UG) 2026.
- Even though CUET itself has no age bar, candidates must satisfy any age conditions fixed by the specific University/Institution/Organization where they seek admission.
Pondicherry University 2026-27 Application Process
For 4-year UG (Hons.), B.Tech and 5-year integrated PG programmes in 2026-27, Pondicherry University will admit students through CUET (UG) 2026 conducted by NTA, followed by a separate university-level online counselling/application process.
Step 1: Apply for CUET (UG) 2026
- Register and submit CUET (UG) 2026 application at the NTA portal https://cuet.nta.nic.in within the notified dates, choosing relevant subjects as per the eligibility of Pondicherry University programmes.
- Appear for the CUET (UG) 2026 computer-based test between 11 and 31 May 2026 (tentative) and retain the NTA scorecard for university admission.
