Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Applicant should at a minimum possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
- Desirable Qualification: Applicant having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply.
- Experience: The applicant should have a minimum of two (02) years' experience of practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as a medical practitioner.
- Residence / dispensary should be within a radius of 3-5 kms from the RBI dispensaries at Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal – 462 011 and Avantika RBI Staff Colony, Char Imli, Bhopal - 462 016.
Salary/ Stipend
- Remuneration: ₹1,000/- per hour for the entire period of contract i.e., three (03) years (calculated as per total working hours performed).
- Out of total monthly remuneration, a sum of ₹1,000/- per month may be treated as conveyance expense.
- Reimbursement of Mobile charges at the rate of ₹1,000/- per month will be granted.
- If required to attend on any public holiday/holiday, compensation @ ₹1,000/- per hour shall be paid.
- Taxes on the income would be deducted at source.
- No superannuation benefits viz. Pension, Provident Fund or Gratuity will be payable. No leave, perquisites/facilities would be admissible.

Selection Process
- Selection will be made through interview and document verification of eligible candidates.
- The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview.
- Applicants shortlisted after document verification and interview shall be subjected to medical examination as per prescribed norms (cost borne by the applicant).
- Candidates selected will be appointed subject to being found medically fit and acceptance of Terms and Conditions (Annex-I) and Code of Conduct (Annex-II).
- The selected candidate must sign an agreement for Contract with the Bank before engagement.
General Information / Instructions
- The Contract for engagement will be for a period of three (03) years. No renewal on completion.
- Applications must be in the prescribed format (Annex-III) and sent in a cover superscribed “Application for the post of Bank's Medical Consultant on Contract Basis”.
- Applications not in prescribed format or without requisite documents/certificates will be summarily rejected.
- The Bank reserves the right to allocate any dispensary, review remuneration, alter duty hours/location, or increase total hours up to maximum 30 hours in a week.
- Engagement is purely on contract basis; no claim for regular employment.
- For ST candidates: Caste Certificate required; engagement provisional subject to verification (false claim leads to termination).
