RBI has released separate cut off marks for General (UR), EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD candidates. The Phase 2 cut off is the aggregate mark out of 300 used to shortlist candidates for the interview. The final cut off is the aggregate out of 375 after adding interview marks.

RBI Grade B Final Cut Off 2026 Explained
The final cut off is the minimum combined score needed for selection in each category. It is calculated out of 375 marks.
- Phase 2 carries 300 marks.
- The interview carries 75 marks.
- Phase 1 is qualifying in nature and does not add marks to the final merit.
The General category final cut off is 241.25, the OBC final cut off is 229.75, the ST final cut off is 226.25, the SC final cut off is 224.00 and the EWS final cut off is 217.50.

RBI Grade B Selection Process and Marks Scheme
The selection for Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) has three stages.
- Phase 1 (Prelims): qualifying in nature.
- Phase 2 (Mains): 300 marks. For the General stream, the papers are Paper I (Economic and Social Issues), Paper II (English) and Paper III (Finance and Management).
- Phase 3 (Interview): 75 marks.
Final selection depends on the combined score of Phase 2 and the interview, out of 375 marks. The paper structure for the DEPR and DSIM streams is not covered here.
