What Happens on the Day
The University reserves the right to conduct a qualifying/written test to further shortlist candidates for the interview. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of academic qualification, experience, publication, achievements/awards etc. submitted with the duly filled application form, considering the criteria for the position. Only shortlisted candidates after this screening are allowed to appear in the interview.
No separate communication will be made to candidates, as this is a walk-in interview. The list of qualified candidates will be released on the day of the walk-in interview. The self-attested documents are verified against the originals, and it is mandatory to produce the documents before the Committee. No relaxation is accepted in this regard.
Important Instructions
- The position is purely temporary and contractual and is co-terminus with the project. It gives no claim or right to regular engagement or absorption in the University.
- The post will initially be offered tentatively for one (01) year or till termination of the project or unavailability of funds, whichever is earlier. It is further extendable on periodic review and satisfactory performance for the remaining project period, at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
- Non-maintenance of discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties can make the selected candidate liable for termination during the appointment period as per rules.
- The University reserves the right to decide the eligibility criteria, increase or decrease the number of positions, alter any conditions, or not fill any post advertised.
- No TA/DA will be borne by the University for attending the walk-in interview. If the interview is not held as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances, candidates may have to stay the next day without any TA/DA claim.
- Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence leads to disqualification. If shortlisted, such a candidate will not be interviewed by the Selection Committee.
- All relevant columns of the application form must be filled in, and the post name must be clearly mentioned. Failure to mention it may lead to rejection.
- Incomplete and unsigned applications will not be considered and will be rejected.
- Candidates failing to comply with the instructions may be debarred from appearing in the interview. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
- Any dispute will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the Patna High Court only.
