Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer or Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent board recognized by the Government
Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devnagri script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture is required
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying educational qualification are also eligible to apply
However, they must acquire the required educational qualification before the examination date of Forester recruitment
Ex-servicemen with 15 years of military service holding equivalent certificate to graduation can apply by filling 'Not Applicable' in roll number field and selecting 'N' grade in result
Essential Qualifications
Indian citizenship or citizenship of Nepal or Bhutan
Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01-01-1962 with intention of permanently settling in India
Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries for permanent settlement in India
For categories (b), (c), (d), (e) mentioned above, eligibility certificate from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India must be submitted
Salary/Stipend
Pay Scale: Level-8 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission - ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month
During Probation Period: Monthly fixed remuneration will be paid as per Government orders
Probation Duration: 2 years for direct recruitment candidates
During probation period, only fixed remuneration will be paid, no other allowances like HRA, DA, City Compensatory Allowance, Special Pay etc. will be payable
After successful completion of probation, training, passing post-training examination, and being found suitable for confirmation, regular pay scale and other allowances will be payable as per rules
Other benefits like leave etc. during probation will be as per amended provisions of Rajasthan Service Rules

NCC Cadet Instructors: Service period in NCC will be deducted from actual age, provided resultant age does not exceed prescribed maximum age limit by more than 3 years
Widows and Divorced Women: No age limit, subject to being less than retirement age fixed by State Government
Emergency Commission Officers and Short Service Commission Officers: Considered within age limit even if they have crossed prescribed age limit when appearing before Selection Board

Selection Process
Selection will be based on marks obtained in Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) 2024 conducted by RSSB
Written examination will be conducted offline (OMR based)
The examination will be objective type (multiple choice questions)

Negative marking of 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
