Southern Railway Teaching Staff Recruitment 2025 - Qualification

Post Graduate Teacher (Biology)

• Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of education of NCERT in Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/Genetics/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level
• Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences / Bio Sciences / Genetics / Microbiology / Bio Technology /Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
• B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised University

Post Graduate Teacher (Economics)

• Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics. (B) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised University. (C) Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Post Graduate Teacher (Commerce)

• Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in Commerce. However, holder of Degree of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible. (B) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised University.

Trained Graduate Teacher (Hindi)

• Graduation (in Hindi) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary education (by whatever name known). OR Atleast 50% marks either in Graduation (in Hindi) or in Post-Graduation (in Hindi) and B.Ed. OR
• Graduation (in Hindi) with atleast 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
• 12th (+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR 12th (+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Primary Teacher (Hindi)

• 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
• 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed). OR 12th(+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Primary Teacher

• 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
• 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
• 12th (+2 Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
