Eligibility Criteria
Exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Botany, Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute.
Candidate should have working knowledge in computer.
Age not exceeding 35 years as on the date of walk-in test.
Salary/Stipend
Stipend: Rs. 20,000/- per month for Spices Extension Trainee (SET).
In case of travel to spice fields, Travelling Allowance (TA) will be paid as per Board’s norms.
Training period is one year from the date of joining, extendable up to one more year.

Selection Process
Selection is for the post of Spices Extension Trainee (SET) on a training basis only, not linked to regular appointment and cannot be regularised at any stage.
Walk-in test will comprise a Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test conducted on the same day at the same centre indicated in Annexure-I.
The number of requirements indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of selection; validity of the rank list will be two years from the date of publishing.
Candidates once selected will be required to undergo training in any of the offices of Spices Board under the mentioned region/regional office.
If at any stage it is found that a candidate does not fulfil eligibility norms or has furnished incorrect/false information or suppressed any material fact, candidature will be cancelled and services, if already engaged, are liable to be terminated.
Decisions of the Spices Board regarding eligibility, conduct of test, detailed test and selection procedure are final and binding on all candidates, with no representation or correspondence entertained.
General Information/Instructions
The selection of Spices Extension Trainees is exclusively for SC/ST candidates and is purely a training arrangement, not a regular job.
Those who have not received their final degree certificate need not appear for the test.
Candidates who have undergone training in any office of Spices Board earlier, whether completed or not, need not apply again.
Spices Board reserves the right to modify, alter, restrict, enlarge or cancel the selection process without assigning any reason, and the Board’s decision will be final.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the walk-in test.

How to Apply
Walk-in test will be conducted at centres specified in Annexure-I for each region.
Eligible candidates appearing for the test should fill in and sign the application form placed as Annexure-II of the notice.
Candidates must bring the following documents:
Passport size photograph.
Original certificates for:
Identity proof (Voter ID card, Driving Licence, etc.).
Proof of age.
Caste Certificate (SC/ST).
Proof of educational qualification.
One set of self-attested copies of all the above documents.
In case of any discrepancy in name and address, a “one and same” certificate from government local bodies shall be submitted.
Candidates must report at the respective centre on 03.02.2026 at/before 11.00 a.m as per instructions issued by the Board.
