Research Associate-III: Rs. 54,000/- + HRA per month;
Project Associate-II: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (category i) or Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (category ii).
Qualification
Research Associate-III: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 2 years post-qualification experience and one first-author publication in a PubMed-indexed journal.
Project Associate-II: M.Tech./M.Pharm. or Master’s in Life Sciences with at least 2 years post-qualification research experience.
Age Limit
Research Associate-III: 40 years; Project Associate-II: 35 years (relaxations as per rules).

Eligibility Criteria
Research Associate-III: Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Biochemistry from a recognized university with two years of post-qualification experience in bacterial and mammalian cell culture.
Research Associate-III: Candidate should have one first-author publication in a PubMed-indexed journal.
Research Associate-III Desirable: Experience with biophysical or functional assays; exposure to translational or multidisciplinary research projects; expertise in recombinant protein expression and purification; strong background in molecular biology and microbiology techniques; ability to independently design, execute and analyze experiments; experience in data documentation and reporting.
Project Associate-II: M.Tech./M.Pharm. or Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university with at least two years of post-qualification research experience.
Project Associate-II: Candidates should possess knowledge in genomics, proteomics, or metabolomics and hands-on experience in microbial culture, maintenance and related experimental techniques.
All educational, professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University, and experience must be post the minimum required qualification.
Salary/Stipend
Research Associate-III: Rs. 54,000/- per month plus HRA.
Project Associate-II (category i): Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR–UGC NET including lectureship, GATE) or national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
Project Associate-II (category ii): Rs. 28,000/- per month plus HRA for others who do not fall under category (i).
Age Limit (as on Date of Interview)
Research Associate-III: Upper age limit 40 years.
Project Associate-II: Upper age limit 35 years.
Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC; for PwBD – 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST); up to 5 years for Central Government servants as per Government instructions.
Institute employees get age relaxation to the extent of service rendered as on closing date of advertisement; Ex-servicemen get relaxation up to extent of defence service plus 3 years, with minimum 6 months attested service.

Selection Process
Selection will be through written test, skill test and/or interview conducted on walk-in basis on the dates specified for each post.
Candidates must report at 9:00 AM on the respective date at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad – 121001.
In case of large number of candidates, screening will be done to limit the number of candidates to those possessing higher or more relevant qualification and experience.
The number of vacancies indicated may change subject to actual requirement at the time of written test / skill test / interview.
General Information/Instructions
These are short-term positions, and extension will depend on satisfactory performance of incumbents and tenure of the project; selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of employment.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria (age, qualification, experience) as on the date of interview; no queries regarding eligibility will be entertained.
The date of interview for the respective post is the crucial date for determining eligibility with regard to age, experience and essential qualifications.
