Eligibility Criteria
Quantum Scientist
- Qualification: PhD in Physics/Engineering in the area of superconducting quantum circuits (Candidates who have submitted their thesis can apply)
- Essential Experience: Minimum 5 years (inclusive of PhD years) in Design, fabrication and measurement of superconducting qubits
- Qubit/Hamiltonian simulations in softwares like QuTiP
- Microwave signal generation and detection
- Operation of dilution refrigerator
- One peer reviewed publication in superconducting quantum circuit related work
Quantum Engineer (RF)
- Qualification: BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Communications
- Essential Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience in industry/academia after graduation in RF/Microwave PCB Design
- Microwave finite element simulation (HFSS, Comsol, Keysight ADS etc)
- Design of high speed signal circuits
- Analog/Digital Signal processing
- Scripting/coding abilities (Python etc)
- Experience in research environment in academia/industry
- Experience in product design
Senior Project Associate
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology / Master's degree in Physics or Engineering
- Essential Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in industry/academia after graduation in one or more of the following areas:
- Design and simulation of RF/Microwave components
- High speed PCB design
- Superconducting qubit design, fabrication, simulation, measurement
- Material growth using techniques like e-beam evaporation, sputtering etc
- Microwave measurements using Vector Network Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer
- Machine Learning
- Coding in Python
- CAD design using softwares like Solidworks, AutoCAD etc
Administrative Assistant
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field with preference to science degrees
- Essential Experience: Minimum 3 years experience after graduation preferably in administrative roles
- Preparing documents for procurement
- Organizing travel, making bookings etc
- Proficiency in using computers
- Using spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets etc

Position Responsibilities
Quantum Scientist
- Leading a team comprising of Engineers, PhD students, Project staff and Project students
- Designing, simulating and fabricating superconducting quantum processor units from 10-100 qubits
- Setting up new cryogenic experimental stations with measurement and control electronics with capacity up to 100 qubits
- Characterizing single and multi-qubit gates on the quantum processor units
Quantum Engineer (RF)
- Leading a team comprising of Project staff, Project students and Junior PhD students
- Designing and simulating RF PCB's and sample enclosures for Quantum Processor Units up to 100 qubits
- Coordinating with external vendors to get the PCB's and sample enclosures fabricated and assembled
- Testing and characterization of fully assembled QPU enclosures
- Designing cryogenic wiring assemblies (semi-rigid and high-density flexible wiring)
- Designing, simulating and creating working prototypes of various microwave components like filters, attenuators for semi-rigid and flexible wiring assemblies
Senior Project Associate
- Working as part of a team of Project Staff, Project students and Junior PhD students led by a Quantum Engineer/Quantum Scientist
- Designing and simulating RF PCB's and sample enclosures for Quantum Processor Units up to 100 qubits
- Coordinating with external vendors to get the PCB's and sample enclosures fabricated and assembled
- Testing and characterization of fully assembled QPU enclosures
- Designing cryogenic wiring assemblies (semi-rigid and high-density flexible wiring)
