UGC NET Syllabus 2026
Paper I: General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude (Common for all candidates). It covers Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Reasoning, Comprehension, Communication, Mathematical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), People and Environment, and Higher Education System.
Paper II: Subject-specific syllabus based on the candidate’s chosen subject (out of 85 subjects). Detailed syllabus for all subjects is available on the official UGC website.
