Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate and its equivalent.
- Essential Qualification: In case more than one eligible candidate is available in the same category, a merit list of all candidates will be prepared and the merit will be prepared on the basis of maximum educational qualification Postgraduate.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 35 years.
- The date of birth in relation to the candidate will be valid only as recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate.

Selection Process
- The entire selection process will be conducted under the procedure described in Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated 17 September 2025.
- The selection process for the above posts will be completely through online medium from the portal as per the guidelines mentioned in the Government Order.
- No written examination or interview will be taken for this.
General Information / Instructions
- Only female candidates will be eligible for the said vacant posts and only online applications will be acceptable.
- To apply for the vacant Anganwadi Worker post, it is mandatory to be a resident of the same Gram Sabha and in urban area the same ward.
- If eligible candidates are not available in any category in the Gram Sabha, then category-wise selection will be done from the concerned Nyay Panchayat.
- For widow candidates, the death certificate of her husband issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned municipal body and certified copy of family register will be valid.
- In respect of divorced/abandoned, only the legal order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
- Regarding income certificate, only income certificates issued from competent level in accordance with Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) of Revenue Section-9, Government of Uttar Pradesh will be valid, whose online verification is possible.
- In respect of residence and caste certificate, only residence and caste certificates issued online with digital signature from Tehsil will be valid, whose online verification is possible.
- The details of number of vacant posts Gram Panchayat-wise/Ward-wise and reservation have been pasted on the notice board of Child Development Project Office, Block Development Officer Office, Primary Health Center, Tehsil Office, District Program Office, Chief Medical Officer Office, Chief Development Officer and District Magistrate's Office.
- Application forms will be filled online carefully and correctly on the format available on the departmental website.
- Self-attested copies of documents which are clean and readable will be uploaded by the applicant, which are mentioned in the online form.
- No application or document/form sent offline or by post will be valid.
- If there is any error in the application or any fact/data/marks/full marks of educational records are found wrong or forged, the candidature will be cancelled.
- One Anganwadi center will not have two women from the same family appointed as Anganwadi Worker/Helper.
- The number of vacancies may increase or decrease, which will be displayed on the website.
- The entire process is to be done online from the departmental portal upanganwadibharti.in. No application is to be received in hard copy at any level.
- While applying online, special care should be taken regarding the serial numbers of certificates and educational qualifications.
- The online verification of the applicant's income, caste and residence certificate serial number, registration number, issue date etc. will be done by the portal itself.
- In case of any wrong entry, the candidature will be automatically cancelled, for which the entire responsibility will be of the applicant herself.
- The entire process of selection of Anganwadi Worker is to be done from the portal on the basis of online received applications.
