Eligibility Criteria

For Veterinary Officer:

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a University established by law in India or equivalent qualification as defined in Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984
• Must be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree/diploma or higher qualification, served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years, or obtained 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps

For Vetting Officer:

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Arts degree (with English or Hindi Literature) or Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce with minimum 50% marks AND three years Bachelor of Laws with minimum 50% marks; OR Five years Bachelor of Laws with minimum 50% marks
• Desirable: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years, obtained 'B' certificate of NCC, or Post-graduate degree in Law

For Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari:

• Essential Qualification: Master's Degree from a recognised University in Sociology or any subject of Social Science (includes Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Psychology, Political Science, Geography, History, and Economics)
• Desirable: Experience of Extension Work, Training under Family Welfare, served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years, or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

For Inspector of Drugs:

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from recognized University
• 18 months experience in manufacture OR testing of substances specified in Schedule 'C' to Drug and Cosmetics Rules 1945 in approved laboratory OR 3 years experience in inspection of firms manufacturing substances in Schedule 'C' as Drug Inspector
• Desirable: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

For Dental Surgeon:

• Essential Qualification: B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from recognised university or equivalent qualification recognised by Indian Dental Council
• Rotary Internship completed before last date of application
• Registration with U.P. Dental Council
• Desirable: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

For Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved):

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Ayurveda from University established by law in India OR Five years degree or diploma in Ayurvedic from Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.
• Registration as Vaidya with Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.
• At least 6 months professional experience of State Ayurvedic or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Ayurvedic from recognized institution

For Medical Officer Community Health (Ayurvedic and Unani):

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib from University established by law in India or equivalent qualification
• Registration as Vaidya or Hakeem with Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.
• At least 6 months professional experience in State Ayurvedic, Unani or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib from recognised institution, served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years, or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

For Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani):

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Unani Tib from University established by law in India OR Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib from Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.
• Registration as Hakeem with Board of Indian Medicine, U.P.
• At least 6 months professional experience of State Unani or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Unani Tib from recognized institution

For Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic):

• Essential Qualification: Recognised degree in Homoeopathy with study duration not less than 5 years OR Recognised Diploma in Homoeopathy with study duration not less than 4 years (preference to degree holders)
• Must be registered with Homoeopathic Medicine Board, U.P.
• Desirable: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

For Homoeopathic Medical Officer:

• Essential Qualification: Recognised degree in Homoeopathy with study duration not less than 5 years OR Recognised Diploma in Homoeopathy with study duration not less than 4 years
• Must be registered with Homoeopathic Medicine Board, U.P.
• Desirable: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years or obtained 'B' certificate of NCC

Age Limit 

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Skilled players of U.P./State Govt. Employees of U.P. (only domiciled persons of U.P.)
• Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit greater by 3 years + period of service rendered in army for emergency commissioned/short service commissioned officers/Ex-Army personnel of U.P.
• PH Candidates: Relaxation of 15 years in upper age limit
• Age relaxation as per rules and government orders

Application Fee

• Payment modes: NET BANKING, CARD PAYMENTS, and OTHER PAYMENT MODES through SBI MOPS

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Screening Examination: Commission will hold Screening Examination (Objective Type) for selection of suitable candidates for admission to interview
• Question Paper: Objective type multiple choice questions with four alternatives for each question
• Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, one-third (0.33) of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty
• If question is left blank, no penalty will be imposed
• If more than one answer is given, it will be treated as wrong answer with same penalty
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: SC/ST candidates must secure minimum 35% marks, other category candidates must secure minimum 40% marks in screening examination
• Candidates securing less than minimum efficiency standard will be disqualified
• Final Merit: Determined by adding 75% marks in screening test and 25% marks in interview
• Only candidates qualifying in Screening Examination will be entitled for Interview as per Commission's standard
• Interview: Original certificates required for verification at the time of interview
• Candidates serving under Central/State Government must produce "No Objection Certificate" at interview

• O.T.R. Mandatory: Candidates must obtain O.T.R. Number from https://otr.pariksha.nic.in at least 72 hours before submission of online application

• Domicile: Only domiciled persons of U.P. are entitled for reservation benefits
• EWS Certificate: Valid for application year only; must be for previous year from application year with gross annual income from all sources
• Caste Certificate: Must be issued by District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/City Magistrate/SDM/Tehsildar in prescribed format
• Document Verification: Hard copy of online application with self-attested copies of all marksheets and certificates to be submitted when asked
• No Change After Submission: Any request for change in qualification and category after receipt of application will not be entertained
• Wrong Information: Candidates furnishing wrong information will be debarred from this selection and all future examinations up to maximum 5 years
• Vacancy Numbers: May increase/decrease depending upon circumstances/requirements
• Commission's Decision Final: Decision of Commission regarding eligibility/candidature/selection shall be final
• Anti-Malpractice: Provisions of Uttar Pradesh Examination (Prevention of unfair Means) Act-2024 dated 06 August 2024 will be applicable
