VITEEE 2026-27 Admission Overview introduces the BTech entrance process for VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and AP campuses, highlighting the fully online application, revised negative-marking pattern, key exam dates and mandatory requirement of qualifying VITEEE for undergraduate engineering admission in 2026-27.

VITEEE Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
- Nationality: Applicant must be a resident or non‑resident Indian, or hold OCI/PIO status; NRI candidates can also apply (often under a separate NRI category).
- Age limit: Candidate should be born on or after 1 July 2004, as verified from the Class 10/SSC certificate.
- Qualifying examination: Must have passed or be appearing in 2026 for Class 12 or equivalent (CBSE, ISC, state boards), or recognised exams such as two‑year Pre‑University, GCE A‑level, IB Diploma, Cambridge High School Certificate, etc.
- Minimum marks: Need at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam; a relaxation to 50% is given for SC/ST and for candidates from J&K, Ladakh and specified North‑Eastern states.
VITEEE Admission Document Required
- Aadhaar card details (Aadhaar number is mandatory in the online application form).
- Class 10 and Class 12 details/mark sheets (board name, school name, year of passing; actual mark sheets and certificates are checked at admission).
- Valid email ID and mobile number for registration and all communication.
- Scanned passport‑size photograph and signature as per size rules (about 10–200 KB, 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm each) for uploading in the form.
- Category certificate (SC/ST or other applicable category) and nativity/residence proof, if claiming any relaxation or special category benefits.
- At counselling, originals plus photocopies of VITEEE admit card, rank card, Class 10 certificate (for DOB), Class 12 mark sheet, transfer/migration certificate and any scholarship or community certificates specified in the call letter.
How to Apply the application form of VITEEE?
- Go to viteee.vit.ac.in and click on the VITEEE 2026 application/registration link.
- Register with your name, mobile number, email ID and date of birth; note the generated application number and password sent to your email/SMS.
- Log in and fill the form with personal, academic and contact details, then choose preferred VITEEE exam cities in order of priority.
- Pay the application fee of ₹1350 online using debit/credit card, net banking or UPI; applications without successful fee payment are rejected.
- Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified size and format, review all entries carefully (no correction window is provided), and finally submit and download a copy of the filled application for future reference.
