Candidates must possess MBBS with permanent Medical Council Registration for Allopathy, BHMS with Registration in the Council of Indian Systems of Medicine for Homeopathy, and MD/DNB Dermatology or PG Diploma in Dermatology with additional qualification registration for the Dermatologist post, along with minimum two years of relevant experience after registration/graduation and their own well-equipped consultation room with good facilities at the specified locations (Parassala / Nemom / Thiruvananthapuram city). Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications – Authorised Medical Officer (Allopathy) at Parassala, Thiruvananthapuram:
  • MBBS with permanent Medical Council Registration.
  • Minimum two years of experience after permanent registration with Medical Council.
  • Should have a consultation room with good facilities at Parassala.
• Qualifications – Authorised Medical Officer (Homeopathy) at Nemom, Thiruvananthapuram:
  • BHMS with Registration in The Council of Indian Systems of Medicine.
  • Minimum two years of experience after graduation and Registration with the Medical Council.
  • Should have own consultation room with good facilities in Nemom.
• Qualifications – Dermatologist (Thiruvananthapuram City):
  • MBBS with permanent Medical Council Registration; AND
  • MD/DNB Dermatology; OR PG Diploma in Dermatology with registration of additional qualification in Medical Council.
  • Minimum two years of experience after completion of PG Degree/Diploma in Dermatology.
  • Should have a consultation room with good facilities in Thiruvananthapuram city.
• Age: Preference will be given to doctors below 70 years for all the above posts.
• Desirable (Dermatologist): In case of selection, applicants may provide exclusive parking space at the location for beneficiaries visiting the clinic.

Salary / Stipend

• Authorised Medical Officer (Allopathy): ₹12,000/- to ₹54,000/- per month, based on the number of files assigned.
• Authorised Medical Officer (Homeopathy): Fixed amount of ₹12,500/- per month.
• Dermatologist: ₹400/- per consultation.
• All positions are on Contract Basis initially for 6 months, extendable with mutual consent.
• Selection does not warrant any claim for regular employment in VSSC or any other Centres of ISRO/Department of Space.

Selection Process

• Step 1 – Shortlisting: Applications received will be screened and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive intimation about the details of the interview through email/phone.
• Step 2 – Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Personal Interview in person along with Bio-data form (in prescribed format downloaded from www.vssc.gov.in), original certificates proving educational qualification, age, experience, registration etc., along with any other relevant information.
• Step 3 – Inspection of Consultation Room: The consultation room of the candidate will be inspected on or immediately after the date of personal interview. Only candidates with a consultation room with good facilities at the required location will be considered.
• Candidates should enclose self-attested true copies of the relevant certificates/testimonials along with the application and submit the same on the date of interview.
• Candidates possessing the advertised qualification, skill, and experience alone will be allowed to attend the interview.
