Introduction: Animal Husbandry Management Institutes are state level non-governmental organizations (NGOs) registered by the Government of Rajasthan. Which Works to increase the income of livestock farmers in the animal husbandry sector and to provide products to the livestock at fair prices and also works to extend the benefits of livestock related schemes to the livestock farmers. The Institute of Animal Husbandry Management (IAM) aims to increase the income of farmers/animal husbandry and provide training to rural people towards various aspects of livestock management like food, housing, milk production, health nutrition and management, fodder management, primary veterinary maintenance management. Animal Husbandry Management Institute is working in the animal husbandry sector to create awareness at the level and to provide and make available to the animal husbandry the information about the buying and selling of high quality products related to livestock.
Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture that deals with animals that are raised for meat, fiber, milk or other products. It includes the day-to-day care, management, production, nutrition, selective breeding and rearing of livestock. Animal husbandry has a long history, dating back to early civilizations such as ancient Egypt, where cattle, sheep, goats and pigs were being raised on farms.
