Lakshadweep Police Department – Technical Vacancies 2013: Office of the Superintendent of Police, Union Territory of Lakshadweep Kavaratti has issued notification against recruitment of 25 technical posts under Coastal Security Scheme on contract basis from the eligible Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard Persons. Names of Posts:
1. Master (ASI): 04 Posts
2. Engine Driver (ASI): 02 Posts
3. Engine Driver (HC): 07 Posts
4. Master (HC): 08 Posts
5. Greaser (HC): 02 Posts
6. Seacunny (HC): 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxations will be extended as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Ex-Navy/ Coast Guard personnel at least in the rank of Leading Seamen/ Uttam Navik /Artficer/ Yantrik possessing minimum 08/10 years experience in service with working knowledge in undertaking essential repairs and periodical maintenance of propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Trade Test, Interview and Medically Fitness.
How to Apply: Eligible Ex-navy/Ex-coast Guard need to download application format available in the website, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates to the following address, Superintendent of Police, UT of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti on or before 08-04–2013.
