Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Educational qualification: Candidates passed Bachelors Degree in any discipline from recognized University/Institute. Computer course experience from any 9001 ISCO recognized Institute OR Candidate has passed Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to O Level Course from DOEACC (OR) 10th pass as with Punjabi language subject, Apart from above qualifications candidate has to clear the Typing Test according the Government specifications.
How to apply: The qualified and eligible candidates have to apply through online from the http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in website on or before 24-08-2011. The candidates follow the instructions at the time of online apply. After submission of online application candidates take a print out of online application for future reference.
Closing date for online submission: 24-08-2011, till 5.00 pm.

“The recruitment will be made based on the merit of the written test. There will no marks for the interview and academic qualifications.” According to the said instruction no. 3 in the Advertisement in the blog of SSSB on ‘cdacmohali.in’ website there is no doubt that the chances that decision would be on our side.

Guys As Recruitment is going to be on merit basis, I want to share you one thing. I the question key which come on some day ago. My paper code is A. I find some mistake in the question no 44 and 50. if anyone have booklet A please clarify it. In q no. 44 it is what is the mean of great and Ans is none of this but actually there is ans is kaland in Q no. 50 about 5 question and 3 hours and anwser is 26 minute but in realty it is 36 minute Can anyone clear it I am write or wrong..Can we complaint it to SSB chairman by a objection letter because i lost almost 5 marks for this… so it will effect merit of all candidates.. what do u think ?

No type test would be held before appointment…old rule of type test would be followed i.e. Within 1year of joining. Asi vota v leniaa ne inna toh…

Type test will be cancelled soon. Recruitment will be done purely on the basis of Merit of written test only.
Do not Guess and check the meaning of Justified in the dictionary.Also mention your rank.
though all can learn a lil bit of punjabi typing in the meanwhile but the fair thing wud be selection on written test merit basis…n exam n result came well b4 the elections so code of conduct wunt affect process n my rank is 31…
@nitz Person having score just 30 marks and typing from last 10 year ll get 30+30=60 n i get 55 with putting all my effort.and i was considering that test ll be held within one year.

@nitz: They have not mentioned any such creteria of making merit. So don’t make any guees’s of ur own dude.
if you hv given the type test in PUNJAB WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE BOARD and this creteria is followd their, then share ur views but dont make prejudgement.

1) Plz upload a scanned copy of that advertisement in which typing test condition was mentioned.
2) What is your rank and your typing speed?
3) Most of the people have read that advertisement in which typing test was not mentioned. They prepared well and got good rank. Now a typing test conditon has been imposed on them making fool of them. If this condition was previously mentioned, then only those people would have applied who are good in typing.
4) Rejecting a candidate who has 100 rank in merit just becoz his typing speed is not upto mark and selecting a candidate who has rank 1500 with required typing speed will be injustice for the one who is in merit. Now what is the use of that written test? If the govt requires typist then they should have called the candidates directly for typing test rather than for written test.
5) going against the Typing test is a good step and all should welcome this and should wait for the decision of High Court. Fair selection will be the selection based on the result of written test. If still anyone thinks that all these things have not been dealt fairly and something wrong is going on his part, he has the freedom to talk to the concerned authorities.
6) I am in favour of this writ and do suppot us for fair selection.
my sssb rank is 434 in open merit bt open merit include sc, bc, ex service man etc and they all having their own merit list also so will they join in general or in their own category? cn any body explain
I think firstly they will go for their category and if the category has no vacancy they they shall go to the open merit
