UPSC IFS Exam Pattern: IFS (Indian forest service) exam conducts by union public service commission -upsc once in a year IFS exam pattern details given below.

IFS Exam consists 2 stages

1) Written examination

2) Interview/Personality test

1. Written examination: IFS written exam consists of all question papers with English language and essay type .Total the written test for IFS exam will be for 1400 marks. Subject’s maximum marks details given below.

2) Personality Test/Interview: The maximum marks for interview 300 marks. On the basis of candidates interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased observers who will have before them a record of their career. who will have have before them a record of their career and assess the personal suitability of the candidates for the service .In Interview they ask questions in academic study details modern current thoughts in new discoveries. Intellectual curiosity, critical powers of observation and assimilation, balance of judgment and alertness of mind, initiative, tact, capacity for leadership; the ability for social cohesion, mental and Physical energy and powers of practical application; integrity of character; and other Qualities such as topographical sense, love for out-door life.
