Total Number of Vacancies: 1652
Name of Post: Staff Nurse
Age Limit: Interested candidates whose age as on 01-01-2012 is between 18 years and 35 years are eligible to apply. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed GNM from recognized Nursing Training Schools and they must also be registered under WB Nursing Council.
Selection Process: Provisional list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks in HSE and GNM. This list of candidates will have to appear for Medical Examination and Document Verification.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, The Chairman, Recruitment Committee for the Recruitment of Staff Nurse Gr. II, Swasthya Bhawan, 1st Floor, Wing-A, GN-29, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700 091 by Registered Post on or before 28-09-2012.

In the pay band scale of Band 3(Rs.7100-37600 with the minimum pay of Rs.7680) and Grade pay of Rs.3600/- as per west bengal service rule, plus other allowances as admissible under the existing rules of the west bengal government.
