Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor:
- Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned subject (Political Science, History, Economics, Library and Information Science) from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.
- OR Awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil /Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments, provided the Ph.D. thesis was evaluated by at least two external examiners, an open Ph.D. Viva-Voce was conducted, and the candidate published two research papers from Ph.D. work (at least one in a referred journal) and presented at least two papers based on Ph.D. work in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR sponsored conferences/seminars.
- OR Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by QS, THE, or ARWU.
