Eligibility Criteria for BOB IT Posts Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification:
- Mandatory: Full Time B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.E/MCA in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication from a recognized university/institution
- Preferred (varies by post): Relevant certifications such as JAVA, MERN, Cloud Engineering, AI/ML, Database certifications (Oracle OCP, Microsoft), Networking certifications (Cisco/Arista), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), etc.
Experience Required:
- Officer Level (JMG/S-I): Minimum 1 year technical experience in IT
- Manager Level (MMG/S-II): Minimum 3 years technical experience in IT, with specific domain experience as per the post
- Senior Manager Level (MMG/S-III): Minimum 5 years technical experience in IT, with at least 2 years in the relevant field
- Post-qualification experience of less than six months shall not be considered except when part of current employment
- Experience in Clerical cadre will not be considered

Selection Process for BOB IT Posts Recruitment 2026
Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
- Stage 1: Application Scrutiny
- Stage 2: Online Examination (150 Questions, 225 Marks, 150 Minutes)
- Reasoning: 25 Questions, 25 Marks (Qualifying)
- English Language: 25 Questions, 25 Marks (Qualifying)
- Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions, 25 Marks (Qualifying)
- Professional Knowledge: 75 Questions, 150 Marks
- Stage 3: Psychometric Test (if applicable)
- Stage 4: Personal Interview (Minimum 60% for General, 55% for Reserved categories)
- Stage 5: Document Verification
Note: There will be no negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for Reserved categories in qualifying sections.
General Instructions for BOB IT Posts Recruitment 2026
