- PQE is the minimum relevant experience the candidate should possess after obtaining the qualification; only employment after obtaining the requisite qualification will be considered.
- Age, Qualification, and Experience are reckoned as on 01.08.2026.
- First class is reckoned at 60% aggregate marks across all semesters/years; this is relaxable by 5% for SC/ST and PwD candidates. Candidates with CGPA/Credit must mandatorily provide the conversion to percentage.
- Only Indian Nationals may apply.
BEML Age Relaxation 2026
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years relaxation in upper age limit.
- PwD candidates: additional 10 years relaxation, over and above the relaxation admissible for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates; permissible for candidates with a minimum of 40% disability.
- The upper age limit can be relaxed for candidates in all categories, subject to equivalent years of excess PQE - however, the maximum age with relaxation shall not exceed 57 years (58 years for Position Code 102).
- Candidates applying for Position Code 102 must have served as Brigadier from the Indian Army; the maximum age cap for this position is 58 years.
BEML Executive Recruitment 2026: Salary and Pay Scale
Pay scales range from ₹40,000–1,40,000 (Grade II, Engineer) to ₹1,50,000–3,00,000 (Grade X, Executive Director) - see the grade-wise Eligibility table above for the full breakup.
- Besides Basic Pay, candidates are eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowances (currently 15.12% of applicable Basic Pay under the Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation/House Rent Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Performance Related Pay (PRP), as per prevailing Company Rules.
- Pay fixation will be guided by the extant rules of BEML Limited applicable at the time of issuance of the Offer of Appointment.

BEML Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for assessment. Merely meeting the advertised conditions does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for assessment.
- Management reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates and increase the qualifying percentage based on the number of applications received.
- Shortlisted candidates must undergo a pre-employment medical examination and original document verification. This does not necessarily mean selection.
- Any shortcoming at document verification - such as falsification of documents, wrong declaration of age/category/qualifying marks, or non-production of original records (including category certificate) - will lead to rejection of candidature.
- Appointment of selected candidates is subject to meeting BEML's medical standards and receipt of a satisfactory medical report from the Company Medical Officer.

BEML Recruitment 2026: Category Certificate Requirements
- SC/ST candidates must submit an SC/ST Caste Certificate in the Government of India format.
- OBC candidates must submit an Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate in the Government of India format, along with a self-undertaking of Non-Creamy Layer status. The OBC (NCL) certificate must not be older than six months as on the last date of online application submission.
- PwD candidates must submit a PwD Certificate in the Government of India format.
- EWS candidates must submit an Income and Assets Certificate in the format applicable for Economically Weaker Sections.

BEML Recruitment 2026: Important Instructions for Government/PSU Employees
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Quasi-Government, or PSU should forward their application through proper channel (printout of the online form) within 10 days of the closing date, addressed to: Sr. Manager, Recruitment Cell, BEML Soudha, BEML Limited, 23/1, 4th Main, S.R. Nagar, Bengaluru 560027 - OR produce a "No Objection Certificate" specific to the position applied for, from their current employer, at the time of assessment.
- Candidates from Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Quasi-Government, or PSU applying without a proper channel or NOC will be permitted to attend the interview, provided they can submit a proper relieving letter from their current organization at the time of joining. However, they will not be eligible for pay protection or carry-forward of past service benefits in such a case.
- Such candidates should also have worked for at least one year in the immediately lower scale - this is not applicable to Grade-II positions.
BEML Recruitment 2026: Important Instructions for Private Sector Candidates
- Private sector candidates must be employed in a regular capacity in a company registered under the Companies Act, and must submit an experience certificate on the company's letterhead while applying, clearly stating their current reporting structure. Freelance experience will not be considered as part of Post Qualification Experience.
- Private sector candidates applying for Executive Director, Chief General Manager, or General Manager positions must be employed in a company with an annual turnover of ₹1,000 crore or more. Preference will be given to candidates from listed companies.
BEML Recruitment 2026: Other Important Instructions
- Internal BEML candidates (Executive cadre) meeting the advertised criteria are eligible, provided their application (printout of the online form) is received through the proper channel, and they have a minimum of 3 years of residual service as on the closing date of the advertisement.
- Any request for change in category, address, email, mobile number, etc., as declared in the online application, will not be entertained.
- Any canvassing or influencing of officials related to the recruitment/selection process will result in immediate disqualification.
- If any information furnished by a candidate is found to be false or suppressed, the candidature stands automatically cancelled - even after appointment, with services liable to be terminated without notice.
