- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Forestry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or in Engineering of any recognized University or equivalent.

General Information/Instructions
- Such government servants who are eligible for this post shall submit their application through the authorized officer as prescribed under the Bihar Government Servants (Application for Posts) Rules 1951.
- The number of published vacancies may increase or decrease upon amendment in the requisition received from the requisitioning department.
- Candidates must be healthy and have a well-built body and free from physical disability that hinders efficient performance of duties as a member of Bihar Forest Service.
- Reservation benefits are admissible to permanent residents of Bihar.
- For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, Caste Certificate and Permanent Residence Certificate are mandatory.
- For Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class candidates, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate is mandatory.
- For Economically Weaker Section, Income and Asset Certificate as per prescribed format is required.
- Women permanent residents of Bihar (including unreserved) are entitled to 35% horizontal reservation.
- All required certificates must be issued by or before the last date of online application i.e., 02.02.2026.
- At the time of document verification/interview, original copies of specified certificates must be submitted.
