Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree within the last three (03) years from the date of advertisement.
- Specialization: Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics / Atmospheric Science / Meteorology or closely related disciplines.
- Desirable Skills: Experience of working in national and/or international research projects.
- Experience in atmospheric data analysis, climate variability, hydrometeorological extremes, cloud-precipitation processes, or related areas.
- Familiarity with reanalysis, satellite, and/or observational datasets, and proficiency in numerical and statistical analysis tools.
Salary/ Stipend
- Fellowship Amount: 240000 Japanese Yen per month
- The fellowship and associated benefits will be provided as per the India-Japan LOTUS Programme norms.

- This post-doctoral position is subject to the selection and acceptance of the candidate under the India-Japan Circulation of Talented Youths in Science (LOTUS) Programme.
- The appointment will be made only upon successful award of the LOTUS Programme fellowship.

- Tenure: Initially for one (01) year, extendable based on performance, availability of funds, and continuation of the LOTUS Programme fellowship.
