  • The Kendra must display the prescribed banner and list of services at its frontage, operate as per the government-fixed timetable, display the government-fixed rate card, and not charge fees above the fixed rate.
  • Government-provided equipment and software must be used correctly and preserved.
  • The Kendra must operate only at its officially notified location; unauthorised relocation will be treated as a serious violation and lead to cancellation.
  • An applicant can apply for only one Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra. Only one person per family (spouse and unmarried children) is eligible; applicants from a family already operating a Kendra will not be considered.
  • False information regarding residence or other required details will lead to rejection or cancellation, even after selection, at any stage of the selection process.
  • Applicants must not have a criminal background; a police character verification certificate is mandatory within 1 month of the final eligible list being published.
  • Kendra operators must follow instructions issued from time to time by the government, District Collector office, Sub-divisional Officer, and Tehsildar, and submit requested reports promptly.
  • All prescribed services must be provided from the Kendra at the fixed fee.
  • Government-provided material must be used economically and preserved; digital payments must be prioritised.
  • Officials appointed by the Collector office, Sub-divisional Officer office, Tehsil office, or Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation can fully inspect the Kendra at any time; their instructions must be followed.
  • Where more than one application is received for a geographic area, the marking process under the GR dated 9 July 2026 will apply, and the decision of the District Collector and District Setu Committee will be final.
  • Officers/employees of central/state government, semi-government bodies, public undertakings, corporations, or local self-government institutions, and Gram Panchayat members/Sarpanch, cannot apply.
  • The decision of the District Collector & Chairman, District Setu Committee, Thane, regarding Kendra allotment is final; no future claims can be made regarding this.
  • All rights to publish, postpone, correct, cancel, or reissue the advertisement rest with the District Collector & Chairman, District Setu Committee, Thane. In case of complaints or irregularities, the committee may withhold a decision on a particular taluka's or centre's allotment pending enquiry.
  • If the Kendra conducts no transactions for 3 consecutive months after approval, it will be cancelled without prior notice and will not be reopened under any circumstances.
  • Copies of certificates/documents issued from the Kendra must be deposited at the respective Tehsil/Sub-divisional office.
